# How to Use Google Authenticator

## Step 1: Download the App

Download and install **Google Authenticator** from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

## Step 2: Add an Account

1. Open the Google Authenticator app.
2. Tap the **"+"** icon at the bottom right.
3. Choose one of the following options:

* **Scan a QR Code**: Use your phone to scan the QR code provided.
* **Enter a Setup Key Manually**: Enter the account name and the key provided, and select time-based verification (default).

## Step 3: Get the Code。

Once set up, you’ll see a 6-digit code in the app. The code refreshes every 30 seconds.

## Step 4: Verify Your Identity

Enter the 6-digit code into the required field on the platform to complete the authentication process.
