# Is Ave.ai Safe?

**Ave.ai provides several tools intended to help users identify risky tokens and improve transaction security, but no on-chain platform can make crypto trading completely safe.**

Ave.ai offers token-security checks that can display information such as:

* Contract risks
* Ownership status
* Buy and sell taxes
* Liquidity conditions
* Top-holder concentration
* Potential insider activity
* Pump-and-dump behavior
* Rug-pull indicators

Its documentation says the platform conducts more than 20 types of token-contract checks and risk assessments. It also offers tools for detecting insider trading, market manipulation, rug-pull risks, and other suspicious behavior.

On supported BNB Chain trades, Ave.ai also advertises MEV protection intended to reduce exposure to front-running and sandwich attacks.

However, these features should be treated as **risk-management tools, not safety guarantees**.

A token marked as relatively low risk can still lose most of its value. Smart contracts can contain unknown vulnerabilities, liquidity can disappear, connected wallets can be compromised, and copy-trading strategies can generate losses.

Before trading through Ave.ai or any on-chain platform, users should:

* Confirm that they are using the official website or application.
* Verify the token’s contract address.
* Review liquidity and top-holder concentration.
* Avoid sharing seed phrases or private keys.
* Review wallet permissions before signing transactions.
* Use a separate trading wallet when appropriate.
* Start with a small test transaction.
* Never risk funds they cannot afford to lose.

**In practical terms, Ave.ai can help traders investigate risk, but users remain responsible for wallet security and trading decisions.**
